The classic matcha latte gets a floral tea twist with homemade Earl Grey syrup.
Ingredients
- Earl Grey Syrup: 1 cup of water • 3 Earl Grey tea bags • 1 cup of sugar
- Matcha: 1 ½ tsp of Matcha + 50-80ml warm water • ½ tbsp of Earl Grey syrup • 150ml of milk • Ice
Method
- Steep 3 Earl Grey tea bags in 1 cup boiling water.
- Remove tea bags and stir in 1 cup sugar. Cool.
- Whisk 1.5 tsp Matcha with 50–80 ml warm water.
- Add ice and 150 ml milk to a glass.
- Add ½ tbsp Earl Grey syrup and top with matcha.
